Great Ideas for Inexpensive Yet Quality Attendant Gifts
When you say someone is a wedding attendant, that may include the Maid of Honor and the Bridesmaids, but that may also include the Personal Attendant of the Bride who may be a completely different person altogether. A Personal Attendant is someone whom the Bride will depend on heavily before, during and after the wedding proper to assist her in various ways - from simply carrying around the train of the bridal dress so that it does not get filthy to running various errands on behalf of the bride which she is indisposed to do during the wedding. So it only makes sense to reward the Personal Attendant or Attendants with attendant bridesmaid gifts then.
If you have just one Personal Attendant to attend to the Bride, then it will be easy to pick out a nice dress that fits her size, taste in clothes, and appearance. You may let her wear this dress during the wedding then tell her she can keep it permanently, or you can buy a completely different dress as part of the attendant gifts as well. You could then give her accessories that match the dress like earrings, a necklace, and perhaps even a wristwatch for good measure.
A Personal Attendant for the Groom would be the Best Man and the Groomsmen sometimes, but you also have the option of assigning a different person as the Personal Attendant. This male Personal Attendant would require a different set of attendant gifts or groomsmen gifts from those given to the Personal Attendant of the Bride then, being male. A classy wristwatch or even a pocket watch on a chain are good ideas for attendant gifts for the Groom Personal Attendant. Ties and handkerchiefs also make for good attendant gifts, or you could buy expensive cuff links if you prefer. The Groom would probably know best what to give this male Personal Attendant, especially if they are friends from way back.
If both the female Personal Attendant and the male Personal Attendant are married, then you could give them gifts that would benefit the entire family of the Attendant. For instance, you could give each of them gift certificates to an amusement park or entertainment facility so that they can bring their families out for a leisurely day riding roller coasters or driving bump cars. If you prefer small items that they could bring home immediately, try buying small stuffed toys that can be tied with bows and ribbons then tagged with small cards expressing the appreciation of the couple to be wed. Teddy bears are a classic item, that can be used even for weddings as attendant gifts. If you buy tiny ones (the kind that can easily fit in the palm of your hand), these could also be given out as wedding favors too for all the guests not just the Attendants.
You might also buy video games that the whole family of each Personal Attendant would be able to play at home. Or if you prefer traditional games, buy word games like Scrabble or Pictionary which even grade-school age children of the Attendants can play. Chess is a winner with almost anyone, so you can buy well-made pocket-size or full-size chess games in colors that fit the theme of the wedding.
Unique bridesmaid gifts should be chosen with the same level of care that the Attendants shower on the wedded couple. But they do not need to be expensive quality gifts can be had nowadays that will still permit you to stay within your wedding budget.

It is always nice to give a thoughtful gift to your bridesmaids. This can be jewelry or perhaps a framed photograph. Something which fits their personality show that you have put some thought into the gift.
